Dates announced for season 2010- 2011
The Committee of the Shipwreck Coast Swim Series are delighted to announce that swim dates have been set for the upcoming season.
The Port Fairy Moyneyana Swim will be held on Sunday 2nd January 2011. The beautiful East Beach in Port Fairy is an ideal place to commence the series with a 1.2km swim finishing at the Surf Club in Port Fairy.
The Port Campbell 12 Apostles Plunge will be held in the challenging waters of Port Campbell Bay on Sunday 23rd January 2011. The Twelve Apostles Bay Swim is a 1.2km swim.
The Third swim in the series, The Tony Ryan Memorial Bay Swim, will be held in the crystal clear waters of Lady Bay, Warrnambool on Sunday 6th February 2011. The Tony Ryan swim is the longest in the series and challenges all swimmers to a 1.4km course across Lady Bay.
Entries for all swims may be lodged on the Port Campbell Surf Life Saving Club's website. (www.pcslsc.ord.au) Entries are accepted on the day of each swim at the clubrooms of the host surf club.
T-shirts are not guaranteed for late entries.
Entries open in November. Please check both this website and Port Campbell Surf Life Saving Club website for updates.
All swims commence at 11.00am.

At the Annual Dinner, Ron Blackney presented new life members, Paul Jones and Lindsay Brain with their Life Member certificates. Congratulation to both Paul and Lindsay on their life membership. Both have been very dedicated members of WSLSC.

2010 Annual General Meeting - Sunday 30th May |

The Annual General Meeting for WSLSC will be held on Sunday 30th May commencing at 9.30am. Nominations are now being called. A nomination form is included with the April Newsletter newsletter.(Pg.4) Click Newsletter Linkl Nomination forms are required to be with the club secretary, Alan Aulsebrook 28 days prior to the AGM,
i.e.by Sunday 2nd May 2010.
All Board of Management positions become vacant at the end of each season . Members are asked to consider their response to an invitation to stand for the Board of Management, which comprising the president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, club captain, chief instructor, OH&S officer, boat captain, board and ski captain, publicity officer, and nipper rep.
