Congratulations to Rebel Noter on receiving the prestigious award of Australian Life Saving Volunteer of the Year at a Ceremony in Perth earlier this month. We are all proud of you!!! This award follows on from Rebel being honored with the Graham Long Memorial Trophy as recognition as Victorian Life Saving Volunteer of the Year in March. .

REBEL NOTER -Victorian Surf Life Saving Volunteer of the Year |

A highlight of Victorian Surf Life Saving Championships held last weekend on March 15-16 at Jan Juc , was the announcement of WSLSC Member Rebel Noter as the Victorian Volunteer of the Year. The Graeme Long Memorial Trophy is a prestigious award for the Life Saving organization. It recognizes individual commitment and community service in promoting all aspects of Life Saving.

Victorian SLS Championships . 15th -16th March Jan Juc |

A team of 25 competitors went down to Jan Juc to contest the State Titles over the weekend (15th and 16th of March). The conditions were tough with competitors taking on 4 to 5 foot surf on Saturday and then extreme heat on Sunday with cleaner and slightly smaller surf (2 to 3 foot). All competitors put in a fantastic effort with everyone having a go in the challenging surf, a couple of competitors even managed to score a ride on the back of a jet ski back to shore.
