The first swim for the Shipwreck Coast series was held on 30th December in choppy and difficult conditions. The gusty wind conditions were challenging for competitors and spectators alike. It was a great day and terrific to see the 194 competitors take up the challenge for the 1.2km swim. Congratulations to the overall winner Ryan Jennings (Open category) who completed the swim in 15:09 and Overall First Female Ebony Ebdnewaldner (Open category) in 15:51.

The Tony Ryan Memorial Bay Swim and the final in the Shipwreck Coast Swim Series will be held on Sunday 10th February. As we are the host club there are many tasks and we are looking for volunteers to assist once again with water safety and admin duties. The Club will also hold a BBQ.
