REBEL NOTER -Victorian Surf Life Saving Volunteer of the Year Print

A highlight of Victorian Surf Life Saving Championships held last weekend on March 15-16 at Jan Juc , was the announcement of WSLSC Member Rebel Noter as the Victorian Volunteer of the Year.  The Graeme Long Memorial Trophy is a prestigious award for the Life Saving organization. It recognizes individual commitment and community service in promoting all aspects of Life Saving.  

Rebel Noter is currently the Warrnambool Surf Life Saving Club Captain and responsible for organizing and overseeing summer beach patrols in Warrnambool and the regional area. Since joining the Club in 2000, Rebel has contributed to the Nipper Program and promoted beach safety awareness in many facets of the Club and community .The Club is extremely proud of Rebel’s achievement and this worthy recognition.

 

Rebel will attend the Australian Surf Life Saving Championships held at Scarborough Beach W.A in April as the Victorian Volunteer of the Year Representative.  He will be competing with inter-state nominated members for the Australian Life Saving Volunteer of the Year Award.
