As you can tell, 1500 Nippers competing in events across 2 days in everything from, beach runs, to flags and all the water events including ironman events, it is quite a spectacle and plenty of entertainment for everyone. Coffee and a huge variety of food makes for a great (and free) weekend’s entertainment.
Adopt a Duck - Duck Derby
WSLSC will again be running a Duck Derby, whereby you can “adopt a duck” for $5, these will then be released “at sea” at 3pm on Sunday the 12th of March, prizes will then be awarded to the owners of the first 3 ducks to make it safely (or not safely) to shore.
For details of prizes and to adopt a duck, see a WSLSC member
Movies and Food
Warrnambool 10th and 11th March 2018 after party
After both sessions of the State carnival WSLSC will be holding movies in the Caravan Park (Surfside, the first as you come through the “cutting”). You can also access the area via a pedestrian tunnel from the maze in the Lake Pertobe playground.
The Sunday will see food vans in attendance as well with Curries, Dumplings, Hot dogs, Fish and Chips all present.
The actual movies being displayed are being finalised but are likely to be Saturday: Moana, and Sunday: Surfs Up and Point Break
Celebrate with your new found friends and discuss the weekend’s achievements!
